"The thing about legends is that some of them are true"
This new adaptation of The Pied Piper spins the age old legend of the man who played his pipe to rid Hamlin of its rats, into a queer allegory about what and who we decide is dangerous for our children. This whimsical, heartfelt take on a story that dates back as far as the 1300s, asks us to confront the stories we’re passing onto the next generation. What stories do we tell ourselves and others in the name of maintaining the status quo, and what happens when we start asking questions about whether the stories are true?
